19th August 2017 saw the wedding of Luke & hayley. Ive known this lovely couple for a few years now, they had been to my studio for shoots then booked there wedding way in advance. (a good idea)
This was my first wedding at Rossington Hall, near Doncaster. So I was looking forward to seeing what great images we could get. I had photographed a prom here before though. But it was all indoors. The weather was very strange. Rain, Sun, Wind, all within 1o minutes. But this didn’t put us off. If it had rained all day we would have still got amazing shots using rain and umbrellas.
We used lots of locations for shots, using the great hall in the background to catching the water fountain in the background back lit by the sun. Some shots were using off camera flash, some natural lighting shots. Either way creating a vast choice when viewed in there private online gallery. If you would like to hear more about how I photograph weddings please get in touch.
Update, the images are ready so here is a highlights collage.
Hi there, again a long time since my last post. But it has been really busy. As those who are regular will know, I closed the studio in May.
This means Im not doing family shoots, cake smashes or newborns. Although I may do newborns in home. However, it has given me time to focus on Weddings and the commercial and fitness
work I do too. In order to push this further, I’m really excited to be going in the Ido Wedding Magazine for Sheffield and south Yorkshire, which also marks there 10th Anniversary. So if you get this magazine at any wedding fayre etc, you’ll see my half page ad. I was also looking at doing one of there wedding shows, but there booked up until next year, so will do one of those.
I recently had my first front cover on a new magazine for fitness work. I’ve had other covers but for this mag its the first. Having work published has always been exciting.
Looking ahead I will be focusing on the Wedding side of things, as well as a growing contract I have visiting recently built or renovated pubs/restaurants to photograph for websites. This has taken me all over the country. Sometimes driving through the night, then back home. But these are the things we professionals have to do.
One last thing, I’ve a new online brochure. If you know your wedding date and would like to see it, please get in touch. Also, a meeting to chat about your wedding is free, no obligation to book me.
Have a great week.
